About Jasmine Bell

Hi, I’m Jasmine Bell — a writer of essays and young adult fantasy for women who are still becoming. I write for the quiet rebels, the deep feelers, and the ones learning to trust their voice, body, and heart.

My love for storytelling started when I was thirteen, during a summer in Turkey, after a CosmoGirl article dared me to write a novel. I’ve been hooked ever since. Now, I split my time between teaching young children as a special education teacher and writing stories that explore softness as strength, magic as metaphor, and the messy beauty of becoming.

In my essays, I reflect on heartbreak, healing, and longing. In my fiction, I create magical worlds where young women confront the impossible and choose themselves.

I live in Tustin, California, and hold a B.A. in Creative Writing from the University of Redlands. I’m a proud member of SCBWI and OC Writers, and I once completed a writing internship with Coffee House Writers. When I’m not writing, you’ll find me dancing in the living room, taking a spontaneous day trip to Disneyland, or having cozy Netflix marathons.
